Pastor Eric N. A. Otoo

BIO Pastor Eric Otoo is the Lead Pastor of Rhema Miracle Centre Assemblies of God Church in Southeast London, Eltham and the Apostolic Leader of 11 AOG churches in United Kingdom, Ghana and Kenya. He is also the General Secretary of NOMAC_UK (Network of Ministers and Churches UK), an ethnic minority AOG fellowship as well as serve in various capacities in AOG_GB including; Church Health and Professional Standards Committee. Pastor Eric has immense passion for young people, mentoring them to their full potential and purpose. He carries a powerful overflowing anointing, ‘setting in order that which is not in order’. He is married to Dorcas and together, they have two adorable teenage daughters.

As a church leader, he is respected for his passion for the cause of Jesus and the local church, and for his desire to see communities established, leaders raised and disciples formed. At home in Legacy Church, Grayson and his wife Del are loved as the visionary leaders and pioneers of a network of contemporary churches, with vision to Influence Today and Impact Tomorrow! Legacy Church is a dynamic, multigenerational church with various locations across Doncaster and Swansea. Grayson’s passion to see the Church influence communities and connect people to Jesus stretches far beyond home. Grayson, who graduated from Mattersey Hall Bible College before attaining a Master’s Degree in Twenty-first Century Leadership, serves as part of the National Leadership Team for Assemblies of God Great Britain. Born and raised in South Wales, Grayson’s life was totally transformed in 1986 when he embarked upon a journey with Jesus, and now he lives to see others raised to live this adventurous life with an incredible God.

Joshua Ofori is a Lecturer, Author, Preacher, Motivational Speaker Radio Broadcaster and host of The HIGH TALK SHOW a motivational TV Broadcast. His quest for knowledge has taken him to many academics institutions including University of Cape Coast, Regent University, Cambridge Theological College, American Bible College and My Life Theological University, where he has attained various degrees. For about three decades his ministry has touched many across the world especially in Africa and other continents including Europe, Asia and North America Dr. Josh an Author of 12 books, preaches the word of God with much humour yet very real to modern day man and this has earned him the name “Prophet of the Word”. He is in popular demand as a conference speaker globally. He is married to Lady Araba Ofori a CEO of Goldsteps Micro Credit and they are blessed with three wonderful children Jason, Jerrome and Jenelle.

Rev. Prof. George Toworfe

BIO Reverend Professor George Kwamina Toworfe is a research scientist (in Biomaterials Science and Bioengineering). Prof Toworfe has an accomplished career demonstrating consistent success as an academic, a researcher and administrator at Higher Education institutions across 4 continents over the past 30 years. He has extensive scientific publications in world-renowned peer-reviewed journals and serves on the Editorial and Review boards of numerous international Scientific journals and Christian magazines. In recognition of his professionalism, Prof Toworfe was awarded the status of Senior Fellow (SFHEA) by the Advanced Higher Education, UK (a single central body responsible for standards of teaching, leadership and governance in Higher Education, worldwide). He is one of 10,000 academics, worldwide, awarded Senior Fellowship status by the Advanced Higher Education. Prof Toworfe was called into ministry in the early 1980s, and ordained as a Reverend Minister by Adonai International Fellowship Alliance (AIMFA, Global), in the US. Prof Toworfe has played a pioneering role in the establishment of churches, mentored pastors and ministers, lectured and taught in Bible Colleges. He served as an associate pastor in two Charismatic churches in London, UK and he is currently serving as one of the Pastors in one of the largest Assemblies of God churches in the United Kingdom. Professor Toworfe is a Director of AIMFA Global, Vice President of the UK/Europe chapter of the Global Christian Ministry Forum (GCMF) and a member of numerous professional/scientific and Christian organisations, worldwide. Prof Toworfe is happily married to Patricia, with 2 children and is resident in the United Kingdom.

BIO Reverend Benjamin Acheampong is an ordained Apostolic Minister of God. He is the Apostolic Father to the Greater Works Chapel International family headquartered in London United Kingdom with Branches in Ghana, South Africa and Nigeria. He is married to Lady (Mrs.) Regina Acheampong and together have 2 adorable children. Reverend Benjamin is also a sort after conference speaker, business advisor and management consultant and has worked with Entrepreneurs, Business Owners and Executive Leaders. He believes your profession is your service to God and man. This means that your secular work is as sacred as the clergy’s.

BIO Richard has been a Methodist Minister for 34 years. He has served in 6 different appointments including 11 years in Italy. He is currently the minister at Eltham Park. Richard is married to Carol and he has a grown up son named John.

Pastor Richmond Mensah

BIO Richmond got born again in 1986 at the Maranatha AG in Cape Coast and got baptised in January of the following year by the then Head Pastor, Rev. Alexander Osutey Nortey of blessed memory. He is passionate in worship, praises, prayer and deliverance. Richmond is the Associate Pastor at Eltham and is married to Lady Emma and together they are blessed with tow daughters (Chelsea & Gabriella).

Rev. Dr. Ralph Adjaho

BIO Rev. Dr. Ralph Adjaho is the Senior Pastor of the Sanctuary AOG at Gbawe, Accra – Ghana. He completed Southern Ghana Bible College in 1995 and pioneered the Sanctuary AOG and later planted other Churches in the Gbawe, Ablekuma and Gomoa Fetteh communities respectively. He has trained and mentored many pastors and church workers within and outside Ghana. He is the immediate past National Director of the Sunday School Department of the AG, Ghana. He holds a B.Min. in Pastoral Ministries from the Maranatha University College and M.Phil. in Biblical studies. He lectured at the Maranatha University College from 2003 to 2006 and the Glory Leadership Institute from 2008 to 2012, and currently lectures at the Jesus Power School of Ministry. He initiated The Sanctuary Child Development Centre in 2006 in collaboration with Compassion International which has so far help over 300 vulnerable children in the Gbawe community access good education, medical assistance and career development. He is married to Peace Adjaho and have been blessed with three boys and three adopted children.

BIO Mrs. Belinda Takyi is a Christian and a Mental Health Practitioner with years of experience in mental health emergency, crisis and community care. She is currently working as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Belinda's passion is to raise awareness of the importance of our Mental health to the Christian journey. She is married and blessed with two children.

BIO A qualified Solicitor, Governance Professional and HR Executive with a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning across the private, public and not-for-profit organisations, Nana has over 20 years legal experience, expertise in Corporate Governance, Company Law, Employment Law, Contract Law and Wills and Probate. With a Masters degree in Human Resources Management, Nana possesses invaluable leadership skills and works at a strategic level, working with Board of Directors and Executive Directors and implementing corporate and business plans, developing policies and strategies and supporting corporate social responsibility. Nana is a currently an accredited member of the following professional bodies / associations: •The Law Society of England and Wales •The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) •The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI), UK •The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), UK In her role as a Non-Executive Director, Nana is a Trustee of Rhema Miracle Centre Assemblies of God in Eltham and a Board of Governor at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Faversham. Outside of her secular and volunteering roles, Nana enjoys spending time with family, travelling, swimming and socialising.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. WHERE IS THE #SHINE! ENCOUNTER CONFERENCE TAKING PLACE? REC_24 is themed #SHINE! and it will beheld from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th August 2024 at Eltham Park Methodist Complex in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, London, United Kingdom. The address is Eltham Park Methodist, Westmount Road, Royal Borough of Greenwich, London, SE9 1XX.

2. WHERE CAN I STAY? There a number of hotels, guest houses, Air B&Bs and many more within close proximity of the conference venue.

3. IS CONFERENCE OPEN TO EVERYONE? Yes! This year's SHINE Conference is open to the public but a ticket is required for all attendees. Simply sign up to register your attendance. Please take note of the Terms and Conditions.

4. HOW DO I GET TO THE CONFERENCE VENUE? This depends on where you are travelling from. Bus route B16 stops right in front of the complex and Eltham Train Station is only 12mins walk from the venue. There will be free shuttle buses available from the hotels, Air B&s etc. to the venue. For attendees who will be driving to the venue, onsite parking is limited but there is plenty of on street parking.

5. IF I AM TRAVELLING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK FOR THE CONFERENCE, WILL I REQUIRE A VISA/ENTRY CLEARANCE? If you are travelling into the United Kingdom from abroad, it is advisable to check whether you require a visa (entry clearance) to visit the UK, allowing sufficient time for the process. There are several ways you can check if you need a visa. Please ensure that you obtain the required information from the relevant British Consulate Office / Embassy / High Commissions.

6. IS THERE ANY CHILDCARE PROVIDED? Unfortunately, there is no childcare provision - however there will be a creche available for delegates with little ones and a stream will be available to watch for you!
